I created this website to help me collect my thoughts about the car, describe the project, and point enthusiasts to the site to allow them to read more about the

fascinating history of YF 2186.

However, having now owned YF 2186 for over seven years, I have decided it is now time to sell her and start a new restoration project. I know that I will never be able to repeat this level of restoration again. The world and the vintage car market has moved on, and whilst the value of vintage cars has softened, the cost of restoring cars to this standard has become uneconomic.

This was a unique opportunity - it was never about the cost of the restoration and whether it was economic to approach the idea in the way that we did. It was a passion project. Here was an original Harrison Coupe body, never to be available again. A one off, unique and incredible project.

Sales Terms

YF 2186 is an historic vintage motor car. Due to its age and history it has been subject to multiple restorations, repair and modifications over time. Except where expressly stated in writing I make no representation or warranty as to the originality, authenticity, provenance, matching number status, mileage or historical accuracy of any part of the vehicle.

If you are interested in owning YF 2186, you acknowledge that you will be given full opportunity to inspect the vehicle and carry out independent examinations, investigations, and due diligence as you consider necessary, including obtaining advice from marque specialists, engineers, historians or other professional advisers.

You must also confirm that you are relying solely upon your own inspection, enquiries and judgement in proceeding with the purchase, and not upon any statement, representation or opinion I have about YF 2186. (I love this car and always will!)

YF 2186 will be sold strictly ‘as seen, tried or approved’ without warranty or guarantee of any kind save as may not lawfully be excluded.

Any sale will be subject to a sales contract which will be provided for review ahead of completion.
